The Words of the People Writ Large
Through Ghost Coast Video, a long time client Detroit Action wanted to create a social media campaign to talk about rent control in Detroit. The client sent a folder full of very lovely staff and event photos, as well as a raw video with interviews from local Detroiters at a recent protest.
The team at Ghost Coast worked together to create a media package, including what you see here. For my part, I created a series of social media images, which included custom illustrations and typography, all within the DA brand guidelines. The client loved the "RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH" logo so much that they requested a version for tshirts. I created several variants, one set with the Michigan outline, the other with the Detroit city limits.
